LYRICS
VERSE 1
You're trying to seduce me
You sweet thing
My anticipation spiking
My mouth is watering
I want to have you
But I'm not sure
I know I shouldn't, but still
No, I must try, to resist
CHORUS
It's all about seduction
When it comes to your kind
Such a sweet seduction
Can't get you
Can't get ya out of my mind
VERSE 2
Covered in lacy layers
I'm bewitched
Your succulent flavors
Too good to miss
A single glance
So hard to fight
I should try
'Cause it wouldn't be right
Must, try, to resist
CHORUS
It's all about seduction
When it comes to your kind
Such a sweet seduction
Can't get you
Can't get ya out of my mind
VERSE 3
My resolve is wavering
You put me in a trance
Wonder what you taste like
With your sugar-coated plans
You don't really care
You just love the chase
I can't take it anyway
So I give you a taste
CHORUS
It's all about seduction
When it comes to your kind
Such a sweet seduction
Can't get you
Can't get ya out of my mind
BRIDGE
I nibble you
I taste you
I consume you
Ecstasy
Fantasy
Confectionary delight
Dark chocolate covered pecans
With coconut and orange
And a drop of marmalade

SWEET SEDUCTION – Song Diary
I always loved the song “Savoy Truffle” by the Beatles but thought that my version would need to be funnier. Savoy Truffle is said to be written by George Harrison for Eric Clapton who loved gourmet chocolates.
So I wrote a song about a box of chocolates seducing a woman. She tries to resist by can’t quite do it. Early in the song listeners often think that she is being seduced by a man. But as the writer I protest and claim I never said anything of the sort. That is all in your mind. It is a box of chocolates from the first lines to the end.
The music is driven forward by the superb Upright Bass and guitar especially in the turn around coming out of the chorus. The singer, Christine Corless does a great job of making us feel the emotions. I can almost taste the confection!
